Bloggin' Love Fest

Itís the Blogginí Love Fest!! By order of La Princessa and the Royal We (thatís me) todayís a day for spreading the love. Without further adieu, hereís my contribution, with my little wishes for my love.

Dear Kim:

Each morning I start my day with you. Click the little blue E, then Muse, and there are I amÖ in ThymeWise, land of my friend Kim. It all started on a Saturday night when I wondered if there were any pagan blogs, and you were excited about a town called Elkins. Do you remember?

Youíre as close to a blog-mother as I could have, because you opened up the world of blogging to me, and helped me find a deeper voice within myself. You planted the seeds that became the Thursday Theo-logue. You introduced me to new friends who have become loved ones. Iím not sure if anyone on my blogroll would even be there if there hadnít been you.

I love reading your stories, about your clients, your cats, your neighbors, your husband. I admire your commitment to the things that are important to you, the way you donít back down.

And I will never, ever forget that you sent me that bottle of DreamThyme when I couldnít sleep. I know it seems like such a simple gesture, but it still means the world to me and brings me to tears Ė you cared enough about ME to help me. I cannot tell you how much that means to me.

So, I want to thank you for giving me joy each day, and sending me the most divine chocolate truffles; for tales of cats and delving into the mysteries of toilet paper consumption; for sharing your husband when I email him random rants that I think only he can understand, and for guessing who Iím talking about in my ďsecret hateĒ posts (and for secretly agreeing, sometimes); for sharing recipes for soaps and tomatoes inspired by the Gods; for your passion for life and the things most important to you; but mostly, I thank you for showing me how blog-friends become true-friends.

I've written about my greatest wish for you before, and Iíll write about it again, Iím sure, but since my Auntie Zuly wish has to wait a little while I have two others Iíll wish for you: speedy, anxiety-free healing in the meantime, and a free-spending, ďwhatever-you-say-WOW-that-is-so-creative-donít-change-a-thingĒ client.

Blessed be, Kim.

Ok, I'm going to make a list of everyone that's told me they are particpating in the Bloggin' Lovefest, and put it right here on the main page for easy access. Since the other entry already has so many comments/pings about the concept itself -- this i...

I'm touched and honored, Zuly, and the feelings are returned. I don't just check your site first thing in the morning, I stalk you obsessively throughout the day! ;)
